I've read, and heard, many things about how I should present myself so others will find me to be an attractive candidate for employment. It seems to be a game of concisely describing my strengths and weaknesses in a way that shows specific interest in the company I'm looking to work for. I find myself researching companies and trying to think of unique statements I can make to show them I do, indeed, get their message. To me though, this seems like I'm sucking up and distilling myself for no reason. I am using the exact same formula that a hundred, or hundreds, of other applicants use and have used. How does that tell you who I am and how I can help?

I really don't think it will. I think show will always tell better than tell. So please take some time to look at my website and see if what I have done, and proved I can do, will be a good fit for your company. And if there is any doubt, message me and I will tell you exactly how I plan to push your company, your work and your dreams further.

"I have worked closely with Mickayla Bakke for the past 3 years as the producer of hundreds of virtual training sessions / video productions /& live streaming events that she has provided support for. I relied on her and her ability to provide support in a wide variety of ways. She has been the producer of events that I was unable to support myself / the camera operator on countless live streams / an audio engineer / & general crew. She is always a welcomed member of a production on account of the exceptional quality of support she provides. I've benefited from her creative problem-solving, tireless work ethic, and willingness to do whatever it takes to make a production successful. She has always gone above and beyond and she consistently delivers outstanding outcomes. Her passion for making the best use of everyone’s time and resources is exemplary. Mickayla is a great communicator, she’s very organized, and she has a keen ability to identify and meet the needs of everyone involved including what would be most
beneficial from the lens of an audience member.
As a colleague, Mickayla is incredibly generous with her time and expertise. Beyond being a reliable and accountable co-worker, I have to say that Mickayla’s humor and good nature make tight timelines & other challenges much easier on everyone involved.
Based on my experience working with Mickayla I can say this : whatever the task is she can accomplish it! I confidently recommend her in her career pursuits.
I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have about her specific skills and experience."

"Mickayla is a fantastic, hard-working and capable production assistant/coordinator that is highly recommended. I worked with Mickayla during the week of Super Bowl 52 in Minneapolis, where we were shooting promo and interstitial pieces for Nickelodeon. Mickayla was one of our production assistants with the local ENG crew and she really stood out in that role during our 5 days together on set.
Mickayla consistently went above and beyond during the most stressful shoot of my year. Though days were long and tiring, Mickayla never stopped working hard on set. Though we had many PAs on the shoot, she was always the first to jump up when something needed to be done and frequently anticipated production needs without being asked.
Mickayla made my life so much easier by quickly and efficiently shuttling cards to media management, scouting locations, handling appearance releases for crowds, getting craft service and carrying many more boxes than I thought humanly possible. Most importantly, Mickayla did all of these tasks and more with a positive attitude and with minimal direction.
As a production manager, I wish that all PAs on set were like Mickayla! She is a smart, friendly and extremely capable young woman who would be an asset to any production as a Production Assistant or Production Coordinator."

"Mickayla was a joy and a privilege to work with. She is a highly capable and intelligent lady with a lot of talent. Mickayla has a great combination of drive and initiative which means that she excels in any situation handed to her.
Mickayla's main responsibilities while working for me were video editing, social media management and graphic design. Mickayla excelled at all three and went above and beyond what was asked of her in order to complete tasks allocated to her as well as tasks that were not allocated to her. Mickayla's editing and graphic design skills are excellent and I was very pleased with her output.
In addition to the above, Mickayla displayed an aptitude for networking that was completely unexpected. While accompanying me to art world social gatherings, Mickayla was able to make great contacts on my behalf which have the potential to lead to sales. This was not within the remit of her role, it is something she did off her own back which I appreciated very much.
I would highly recommend Mickayla for any position. At this stage, I believe she has the ability to do any job or achieve anything she puts her mind to. I would have her back working for me in a heart beat."

Mickayla had a way of being there just when you needed her, whether it be to run to get coffee or a snack(in my case it was gummy bears), or being available in case talent needed to be flown to set. Her quiet yet diligent attitude made her a pleasure to work with, and her main strength was the willingness to go above and beyond what anyone asked of her.
I never saw her rest the whole month we were shooting; she was always being utilized one way or the other.
I highly recommend hiring Mickayla for your production; you won't be sorry.

Mickayla and I worked together on producing a week's worth of live stream soccer matches during the USA CUP youth soccer tournament. In a dynamic live-shoot environment, there are a number of factors that need to be constantly monitored and adapted to, which Mickayla handled with ease and professionalism. She was instrumental to the success of the production through her role in managing the booth for all three concurrent streams, as well as coordinating and recruiting camera operators and monitoring the overall production schedule. Mickayla is fun to work with and very talented - I recommend her.

Mickayla was the most thoughtful and quick production assistant I have ever worked with. Mickayla came to set everyday eager to learn and was hungry for work. She went above and beyond the expectation and was easy, fun, and nice to work with. I would recommend her very highly to anyone and believe she has a long standing career ahead of her in the film industry. Keep your eyes on this one!
